ich verstehe nicht, wie auf der Seite 224 Alan Guth behauptet, dass das Universum eine Ausdehnung von 10^-52 m gehabt haben soll, wenn die Planck-Laenge 1.6162*10^-35 m betraegt...

Danke für den Hinweis, allerdings hat Alan Guth tatsächlich diese Zahl genannt.

In the inflationary theory, therefore, the universe started out incredibly
small. Before inflation, the radius of the observed universe is shown in Figure
10.6 as only 10^-52 meters. These numbers are not at all well-determined,
however, so they should be taken only as an illustration of how inflation
might work, and not as a prediction of the theory.

Generell sagte Alan allerdings, dass die Planckära der Physik verschlossen bleibt. Er nahm weiter oben im Buch an, dass das Universum 100 Verdopplungen erfährt. In der Grafik nimmt er zum Ende der Inflation einen Radius von ca 1 m hat. Dies ergäbe allerdings nur eine Anfangsgröße von 10^-30 m

Alan wiederholt die Zahl allerdings auf Seite 186, es ist also kein Versehen.
